What you need:
2 pounds ground beef
1 Texas Chili Mix
2 ½ cups tomato juice or tomato sauce
1 15.5-ounce can chili beans
1. In large saucepan, brown ground beef; drain.
2. Add chili mix, tomato juice or tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and chili beans. Cook on medium heat for 25 minutes. Add more tomato juice or tomato sauce or water to reach desired consistency; heat thoroughly.
3. Serve chili with cheese and onions if desired.
MILD VERSION: For a milder version, use MILD diced tomatoes and green chilies OR diced tomatoes undrained and add a 46-ounce can of tomato juice and simmer until desired consistency is reached.
