We do NOT and will NEVER have peanuts in our facility as peanuts can have serious repercussions if someone is allergic and we don’t want to go there.

The difference between pecans and peanuts is that pecans are tree nuts.

Peanuts are actually not a kind of nut.

Peanuts are a legume and are closely related to soy beans, kidney beans, peas and lentils.

By contrast, Pecans are a tree nut, as are walnuts, cashews, Almonds and macadamia nuts.

According to the Food Allergy Research & Education organization.

An allergy to a legume like peanuts is not a certain indicator that you will also be allergic to a tree nut, such as Pecans.
